Looks like he's going out with a kick to the balls of every white gun owning man. What a pussy way to retire. Maybe he is picking his battles...I sure hope he has something good up his sleeve. We'll see come time to vote on obamacare.
"There's been no significant finding against her, there's been no public uprising against her," said Bond, who is retiring. "I will support her, I'll be proud for her, the community she represents and the American dream she shows is possible." Linky |
| He's been a turncoat piece of shit since he got elected and announced his retirement. I guess that he feels like since he's not seeking re-election he doesn't need to vote how his constituency wants. I'll tell you something else, is the GOP gives MO that liberal fucktard Roy Blunt as a republican Senate candidate, then they WILL loose the seat to Robin Carnahan. Guaranteed, end of story. |

Two points:
1) Obama isn't going to nominate a pro-gun judge. Just ain't going to happen. This woman isn't as bad as some he might have nominated. 2) Elections have consequences. If we want conservative judges, we'll need to do a better job of electing conservative presidents (yeah, I know, Missouri went McCain). |
| I was kinda shocked myself. Only reason there was no uprising is because most people are concentrated on the other stupid crap going on like health care, bailouts, cash for clunkers, etc. I wouldn't have a problem with a hispanic judge so long as they represent all Americans. The judges need to inerpret the constitution as it was written by our forefathers. Fuck all these people always basing decisions on race or ethnicity. Our original rules applied to all humans and didn't need seperate interpretation for certain races. |

Wait for it.......... |
| Again, do you think that Obama is going to nominate a conservative to the bench? She is a Liberal judge replacing a Liberal judge. Granted I don't think Bond should vote for her, but she's going to be voted in. And besides, like it or not she does share the views of about half of America. Just not half of our state or our region. |
