I'm sure this has been asked a million times here in the HTF, but I couldn't find it. What are some good fun shops in the STL area? I've obviously heard about 417 after all of the dust up, but what else is there that is worth going to look at?
Thanks guys! |

Well if you dont mind a few listed in the St. Charles area.
We have Grafs and sons on 5th street. Mostly reloading components, but they do have some hand guns, rifles and shotguns. There's Mikes on old 94 and Prallie Ln. Large selection of Handguns and fair amount of long guns. Suppose to be one of the best priced dealers around. There's Nassua Guns on the south outer road (I-70) between Zumbel Rd and Cave springs behind the Post Dispatch St. Charles office. And there's Gateway Outfitters on the north outer road. Just a few blocks east of Cave springs. I hear many say that their prices are the highest. There is a rather well known gun shop in New Melle. But best find a phone number first before going out there. As I remember it, it does seem that they have strange hours. Ran out of a building in the back of the house. Sure that there are more, I remember there was a little bait and gun shop once just north of Wellington springs off of hi-way 94. Dont know if it is still there or not. Max |

I like Mike's. Very fair prices. Also a fan of Mid-America (they have always done me right). I used to be a fan of Gateway, but their prices have really come up over the last few years. As far as H&H in Warrenton, unless they opened up a new shop, the building they were in on the south service road burnt down months ago. |

Firetoad,
Yes H & H is open for operation again. Exit I-70 and go south to M or Main street and turn right. I dont remember the exact address, but they are on the right side before the county court house / jail. Would say about 5 doors west of the pawn shop. Almost across the street from the old Belle theater. Much nicer digs than the old place. Max |
