Nice rifle!  See, we MO HTF folks can be a friendly and helpful bunch.

But shame on me. It was getting a wee bit late and I did need to get home and check on my wife. See she had been still kind of getting over a head and chest cold and I wanted to take care of her needs.

Shane, did you get the triggers switched? If not, maybe we can get together again and take care of that. Sorry I forgot to ask till now..

Not yet Paul I am doing some reading on triggers before I do that. There seems to be alot of choices when it comes to "match" triggers and I really dont know which to use. Some of them can be adjusted for different things. Do I really need all those adjustments?

Sorry for the delay response. Been off on a new board, looking into doing Christmas lights to music. Much like the stuff but smaller for a few years like this though. Go to Youtube and search for "Wizards of Winter". Anyway to your question. All of those adjustments. Well I like my jewel trigger in my bench rest AR-15 with the 24" barrel, the Bushy varmint. But for those two combat type weapons I would say no. A nice 5 lb trigger in either single or two stage depends on your likes and dislikes. Over travel would not be a real issue either. Unlike bench rest shooting were over travel is like a golfer following through. Just a nice clean break of the shear would be nice also. Remember, those two rifles of yours is like a hand gun carried by cops. You want a trigger that is not to light (shot your buddy in the back if it is to light). And just in case you do try to go hunting with this, a clean break of the shear will keep you from trigger jerking off of your target when the shear releases. My carbine has just a standard trigger. But again it is not built for bench rest shooting.  Now I still want to get a better trigger for my 50 BMG, but again it is for long range bench shooting like my Varmint AR-15.

Just my .02 worth.
