Just got back.  The show was the busiest I've ever seen it, just moving around from table to table was like bumper cars.  Nevertheless, people were polite and friendly, there were no arguments or jostling around.

Pistols are up across the board.  Don't know why but there weren't many good pistol deals to be had.  There were more 4473s going out for pistols than anything else though, at certain tables you almost had to wait in line just to be able to see what was on the table because people were packed in so thick.

Ammo guys were super busy.  Even at current inflated ammo prices they had big gaps in their displays where certain calibers had sold out by 3:00pm or so.  PMC 55 grain .223 was available for awhile at $350/1000, and went quickly.  Spec quality 7.62 NATO was enough to make me roll my eyes, but people were still forking over cash.  I have no idea what 7.62x39 was going for, by the time I got to the show it was gone baby gone.

I was really happy about magazine prices.  There were a few places trying to gouge at $15 for a mil-spec STANAG AR mag, but at the end of Saturday they were still sitting there.  There were few signs of panic buying or price gouging on mags.

ARs, uppers, and other tactical stuff was up but not rediculously so.  In general if you kept your prices within 10% of where they would have been two weeks ago, you'd be selling well.  Pre-89 guns such as imported FALs, FNC's, Valmets, and HK91s continue to climb.  Don't expect to see a nice HK91 for less than two large anymore.  The CMMG/FireForEffecf crew was there and as far as I could tell their prices were right in line from last year.

AKs are starting to go from "man thanks expensive for a Century" to "are you freakin' kidding me?"  Prices consistently approaching $600 for WASR-10s complete with two rusty mags and factory scratches left me glad I'd gotten into my AK phase years ago.  Saw a few milled Chinese guns and one milled Bulgarian, but prices were all over $1000.  No thanks.

My haul:
Eight C-Products STANAG mags with Magpul followers, $12 each:  $96
Two black PMAG 30s with windows, $17 each:  $34
Four NIB 20-round metric FAL mags, $10 each:  $40
Four very good condition 30-round inch FAL mags, $35 each: $140 (I will convert to work in my metric STG58 later)
500 rounds of "Brown Bear" .308 to try in the FAL:  $175

Total damage:  $485 on mags and ammo

Considered getting a very nice K98 with sight hood and cleaning rod (not a Russian capture as far as I could tell) for $335, but I figure Mausers aren't as likely to be banned as hi-cap mags are, so my money went there instead.

Ditto to what Duke said.  It was more packed than I've ever seen.  My buddy that I rode down with, who has been going for 15 years, said that he had never seen so many people there.

I wasn't really flush with cash this trip, so I just bought a few goodies:

-ERGO Sure-grip for my AR
-30 rnd MagLevel PMAG
-a spare mag for my Hi-Standard Model B .22 pistol

All-in-all a good time as usual.

Was a good show lowers were selling well and ammo was gone by Sunday.  Mags were selling good also.  There was allot of 50 BMG guns there for sale also.  Had allot of fun and learned why you don't mix Long John Silvers fish with whisky Saturday night.
