| I am trying to set up a LLC and have a few ?s not answered in the posted thread. Where it asks what is the purpose for the LLC being organized, not sure what to put here since it is just to acquire nfa items. I will be the only member /owner, so I guess I check the member box, correct? My last ? is where it asks when and what events would cause the LLC to dissolve. Do I have to list an event, such as my death or stating no events or can I just put perpetual and be done with it. If I'm missing anything that would be helpful, please let me know before I throw down $105. Also do I still need to draw up an operating agreement if I am the only member and do not ever plan to sell the items I obtain through the LLC. I'm trying to set this up for the cheap, and I understand having an operating agreement is beneficial, but I'm just trying to save some money for the nfa items wherever I can. Thanks in advance for any and all help. |

If you do it on line there is a default reason, "The transaction of any lawful business for which a limited liability company may be organized under the Missouri Limited Liability Company Act, Chapter 347 RSMo.". Here is the link to MO's LLC application page. Choose "perpetual", unless you want it to dissolve at some point. Choose "Member", NOT manager, for all LLC members who want to play with your toys. You can change these items down the road of you want. Do a google search for "LLC Operating Agreement". |
