I didn't need to "Kill" the steak... it had long since stopped mooving... I did have to chop wood for the fire though, Cooked over seasoned Oak You need a HOT fire to properly sear a steak! WAS DAMNED GOOD!!!! Did I mention that already? I thought about adding the Dinner Pic staples but meh... I just wanted to take a pic of it! |

Man, add a baked 'tater, fixed up, and some good beer and that's 10/10 in my books! My favorite grilled sides are as follows. Fold a piece of heavy duty aloominuminum foil over and fold up the edges. Melt some real butter on the foil and then put cut-in-half onions and baby 'taters in the butter until the taters soften and the onions caramelize. Fresh cracked pepper and some large-flake sea salt for seasoning. |
DUDE! That is a pound and a quarter of BEEF... It was all I could manage to eat that and the Asparagus! I like your Tater Recipe, Add some bacon cut up in there and you got yourself some darned good taters!!! And I don't care for Taters! |
