I haven't made my choice for governor.  Who gets ARFCOMmer approval, and why?

Let me think.......gun grabbing liberal big city lawyer who wants to severely limit CCW or conservative gun friendly farmer?

Kenny gets my vote, YMMV.

What's the history of Nixon being anti-gun?

Voted against CCW at every turn as a State Senator.

The NRA ratings for this election won't be out until Oct 1, but in 2004, they rated Jay Nixon a "D-" and Kenny Hulshof an "A" at that time.

I can't find a link, but Nixon has recently expressed his support for a Democrat plan to restrict CCW in urban areas.  Also, his website has no reference whatsoever to his postion on the 2nd amendment, that in its self, speaks volumes to me.  Hulshof's website states his support for the second very clearly.

How would that even work?  No CCW between the hours of 8am-5pm?  Drop Boxes for people to deposit their guns in when entering City Limits?  wtf kind of 'plan' is this?

Do not vote for Nixon if you would like to keep your CCW. He can kiss my ass.

Nixon was all about the black rifle ban in 94, he also wanted to stop machine guns being transfered to individuals. He also said that if we voted in the CCW that it would be like the wild west back in the day, well I guess he is full of dog shit. He is a true blue liberal, not a friend to the gun community.

Thanks for the update.  I will vote for Kenny, not like I would vote for many Dems anyway.

+1!

But before folks get too hard on all Democrats, there are still a few good "old" democrats out there.  Granted they're pretty few & far between, but they are out there.  IF memory serves me correctly Ike Skelton is a good Missouri Democrat.

This is true but a vote for a Dem. still counts as a vote for those that support anti-gun legislature and a Dem. majority isn't a good thing.
Just my opinion.

Psst, don't tell, but I picked a Blue ticket in the Primaries and voted for Hillary as a part of Operation Chaos.

I had to explain it three times to a Libtard coworker.  And each time, as she understood my rationale a little bit better, she got madder and madder.   It was priceless.  Too bad it didn't work though.

I was hoping that Nixon was one of the good ones, but it seems that I was wrong.
