We went to Denny's for dinner this evening, my nine year old son orders breakfast. He asks for whipped cream for his pancakes, the waiter brings out a can and leaves it................. Douglas proceeds to shoot whipped cream on his bacon and wolfs it down. I know bacon goes with almost anything, but WHIPPED CREAM? |
Clearly you have not been annointed with bacon grease! Bacon makes everything better! Eggs? Better with bacon. Pancakes, waffles, lettuce, tomato, steak, fries, chicken, hamburgers, EVERYTHING is better with bacon, even WHIPPED CREAM!!! |
| Yup. For instance you hear about heart disease and artery problems right? Well that friggin sucks! Except if you have them because you ate bacon. Well just think how many mornings would have sucked in your life without it. How many burgers would have been plain. How much whipped cream would have just stayed in the can... why eat it if there is no bacon! Besides I bet you would have had that heart disease a year earlier if it hadn't been for the bacon's magically healing properties. Hell I'm gonna go fry up a pound or two before bed right now just incase! |

Apparently you guys have never had fried hog jowl, its smells and tastes like bacon but without all that healthy meat in it. (Most jowl has meat in it, but the fat is the best part) All fat with the pork rind attached. Put it on white bread with yellow mustard...you can actually hear your arteries harden. I also prefer jowl over a ham hock when making a pot of beans. |
Would it be wrong to put bacon on a pork tenderloin or ham n cheese sammich? How about a fried egg on a chicken sammich? Doesn't really seem kosher.

Why in the hell would you want to ruin a good sandwich with "Chicken". Chicken sandwich, add the bacon, HOLD the chicken! Much better! PursuitSS |

Yes they will, you'll pay chickensandwich price, but you can get it. McDonalds will sell you a bigmac sans meat if you want it. I had a Indian friend who's mother was a vegetarian, she frequently had me stop by McDonalds or Tacobell for items that would normally contain meat, minus the meat. Crispy beef taco, without the beef, etc... Fast food in places with large vegetarian populations(hindu,jain,buddist) are use to these sorts of requests, and think nothing of them. |
Everytime I'm at Arthur Bryant's or some other bbq place I'm tempted to get a ham & pork combo sammich. Add some bacon & the universe might implode from all the porcine goodness. |

I don't think the tenderloin sammich is nearly as popular in K.C. as in the St. Joseph area. Damn near every non-chain restaurant says they have the best tenderloin. Breaded or battered then deep fat fried. So far the best IMHO is a place in the south side called Southgate. PursuitSS |
