Is there anyone else planning/wanting on going wheeling down in Sullivan on the weekend of May 23rd-25th?? Right now I have one yes and two maybe's. John |
Would have to be Sat morning. Even with everything loaded up by the time I get off work and make it to Sullivan, its at least 8pm. Hope to have new tires (finally dumping the crap factory tires) this week or early next next week. Where would be the best place to meet up on Sat ? ? |
You may not be that late to go wheeling with us!!! Email sent with contact info and Directions. For the folks meeting up on Saturday we can just meet up at the lodge if that works out. John |

LAST CALL FOR WHEELING!!! Right now I have Three groups going on the wheeling/Shooting trip. If you are wanting to go let me know. If anyone that is going and does not have contact info and Directions drop me an email and I get you what you will need. With all this wet weather it is going to be really muddy down wheeling. Thanks John |
You can bring them and there is no restrictions on what we can use for targets. Except Arfcom members and there trucks. <LOL> I broke the drivers side mirror last night so I am fixing it today and preping the truck for next weekends trip. John |

How about FRS radios? I have a few of them. I don't have a CB, Well, not one that works. BTW, I will be driving my jeep with the quad in tow. I don't mind driving the jeep some but not too much since time and years of abuse are starting to take their toll. Hell, I have VHF handheld but I think it is illegal to use them on land. |

Gary that's fine bring what you have. I have a bag of radio's that I will try to dig up and bring along also. I was in the back creek area a few weeks ago and it is very muddy back there. The dunes are hard packed from all the rain but they will change with the weather that we are having now. John |

Hey Fellers, I had a great time and I will get those pictures I took posted soon. --more to follow-- Pictures.... Too big to add to this posting so i am just linking to them. www.geocities.com/aigtbootbp/RSteinB.jpg No, he didn't make it. Always dug in about 8 feet from the top. Check out the rear tires, they just dug in deeper from there www.geocities.com/aigtbootbp/StuckAgain.jpg Me as usual, took John's Hummer to pull me out. Of course he couldn't even tell I was back there. www.geocities.com/aigtbootbp/TheHill.jpg You can kinda get an idea how big the hill was from this picture, it was awesome. Wish I had more pictures but I was having so much fun I kept forgetting to get any. Especially since I did't get a single damn shot of us shooting... |

Glad to meet the guys/young ladie that showed up for the event. I had a great time also. Robert, Drop me an email and tell Andy I have a few items of her's that she may like back!!! Gary was a 4-wheel freak, Robert I hope that someone did not tell on you, Benja you have a sweet set up for wheeling. I hope that the next time that you folks and hopefully more will come on down for wheeling/shooting. EDIT!!!< Has anyone made a shot of 382 yards with a 44 mag handgun besides Gary????> John |

Talk about a great weekend. Wheeling, shooting, Great food and conversations. Andi and I had a BLAST. GaryM made her day letting her drive the quadrunner. Let me tell ya, that hill was all sand and bigger than it looks. As Gary said, he was the only person to get stuck, but thats also the place that sinks Hummers in the pit. We have to get together and do this again sometime. Andi and I stayed with family in town, but will plan to stay overnight next time. Thanks again to John for throwing such a great time. |
