First off thanks again for putting on a great shoot. It was my first and I had a blast! I was wondering where you got your steel plates we were shooting at. I'm guessing there the AR500 steel that can withstand lots of shooting. Also where you got the small steel target poppers we shot pistols and shotguns at. Its so expensine to ship them I don't want to buy them online so I was hoping for something in MO. Anyone else know where I can get some ar500 steel that can withstand shots from an AR? Thanks again! We got these at R & R Racing. They are good for 5.56 @ 100 yards. They are a great bunch up there and have excellent product. Jeff |

I've been looking at getting some rifle steel, and http://www.arntzentargets.com/ was looking like a good choice. I've got some pistol plates from LE targets, price wasn't too bad and shipping was cheap. HOWEVER, I gave up on buying rifle plates because I got a few wear plates off of the crusher at my company, and they are most deffinitely at least ar600 and they're 1/2" or thicker

Thanks for the input guys! I really want a plate or two that will take shots from an AR or AK. But I'm on a students budget...... Ah what the hell.....I should proabably spend my loans on a 1500$ plate rack or a texas star. Man those are sweet! Hey Polytech, Can you get any more ar600 steel? I'll pay you and pick it up from you in your around Columbia or STL! Thanks agin, Eric |
