| I might give this one a pass. Two shows previously I bought a Smith 686 and a Sig P245 with the money I got from selling a very worn Colt Python. Last show I didn't buy any guns but still managed to spend more than $400. I'm involved in startup costs for a new business venture right now, so I need to save cash. |

I'm finally getting my own law office, in Warrensburg, a solo practice. My private practice has simply exploded since New Years and I find myself very busy and with some extra money. Instead of doing something I normally would like buy a .50 cal, I'm investing in my future. From what used to be just fixing a couple of traffic tickets for friends each month, has now grown something too big to run out of an ad hoc office in the top floor of my house and a cell phone with 1500 minutes a month on it. Its finally time to take the plunge and go legit with a solo practice. I'm excited. I'll probably post up about it and take some pics when everything is done, since I can't do ANYTHING without telling the Missouri HTF forum crew about it.

The attorney I hired in Mtn. Grove to handle Dad's estate seems to be doing pretty well. He tries to be as efficient as possible, and has one reasonably competent secretary. He's hitting it hard 5 days a week, goes home at 5, and doesn't work weekends. He set up shop about the time I moved here, so he's been working there for about 26 years. Good luck. I'm on the fence about Tulsa this year. The club's swap meet is the same day, and it's likely to be more productive than Tulsa. But, I missed the gun show last year and need a fix. |

I think I'll drive down late Saturday morning after I go to the swap meet. If I don't screw around, I can get in several hours at the show on Saturday afternoon. You never know, you may find the one gun you can't live without. It's probably like crack, hard to say. |
