Duke, if you are still doing this and don't mind holding one for awhile (Of course I will pay for it as soon as you would like) I would still love to get a green (or if not green then brown) one.
BTW, Tell Morgan I was very happy to see her at the shoot yesterday, I told Lisa she was there and Lisa said she would have gone if she had known.
Oh, I was very glad to hear your business is doing so well.

To financially help out CavArms.

Thats the only reason I could think of anyone would buy one of these POS lowers.
I like CavArms, I just think the Cav lowers are junk, ugly, and serve no purpose that a regular lower won't do.

I want to help out Cav Arms, they are getting shafted by the ATFE and if I can help I will. I did get one from CMMG yesterday and I am going to use it to build and ultralight rifle. I am sure it won't be my favorite but it will be a nice variant to have and as I stated before it helps out a good cause.

Press release written by Cavarms attorney and posted by EdAvilaSr yesterday:

www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=699768

For many years Cavalry Arms Corporation (“Cavalry”) has strived to manufacture and sell quality firearms to the public. We have always strived to put our experience from the field into making quality products that the average shooter can afford, while still bringing innovations to the industry. We are dedicated to providing the best possible products and customer service to the firearms market.

On February 27, 2008, agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives executed a federal search warrant on the business premises of Cavalry and on the private residence of its CEO, Shawn Nealon. We have immediately engaged legal counsel to resolve this matter with the federal government. Cavalry is confident that all it conduct has been lawful in carrying out its business activities. The Government has yet to share with the company details of the investigation or the cause precipitating the search warrant. Cavalry is cooperating with the federal investigation. To date no accusations of wrongdoing have been filed against Cavalry or any of its employees regarding alleged illegal activity.

While we are waiting for a resolution to this situation, Cavalry Arms will remain open for business and continue firearms operations under its Manufacturer’s FFL. Unfortunately, the federal government seized business files, computers, and inventory from Cavalry during the execution of the search warrant. As a result, Cavalry has been forced to reconstitute its resources, and we expect to be fully operational in the near future. In the meantime, we still carry firearm parts and emergency medical products for sale. We appreciate your patience, and we thank everyone who has shown us support during this turbulent time.

"We expect to be fully operational in the near future."  Oh dear....

Allegedly the issue has to do with CavArms producing their lowers away from their licensed business location. Whatever arrangement that they had with the injection molding company for which CavArms had BATF letters of approval for is now in dispute. It's my understanding that one of the CavArms 'responsible persons' would show up at the injection molders and be present while the receivers were made. BATF decided that this was unlicensed manufacture in spite of prior letters approving the same.

Apparently some other issues with SN being on one side of the receiver before being molded, with some control issues.

FWIW

When I'm elected to congress I'm going to ram through a bill saying that BATFE can't change their fucking mind every 5 minutes and ruin people's lives.  That is ex post facto bullshit and its unconstitutional.  Its just as bad as saying my driver's license is no good because they changed the font on the card after mine was already printed out.

Fucking arbitrary, fucking capricious, fucking failing any standard of review unconstitutional.

I'm just gonna hit "submit" before I REALLY let go.
