| Any one from Blue Springs? If so were are you shooting? I'm new to the Ar and looking to get with some people that know more than I do. |
You left out the members from the mean streets of Greenwood! |
Sorry BK, I didn't mean to leave out the "G-Wood" |

JakeT and I are both in Blue Springs. I belong to Pioneer Gun Club so I have year-round access to an outdoor range and year-round 24/7 access to an indoor pistol/rimfire range. We'll have to let you BS guys know the next time we head to the outdoor range on the next nice day. At least this way you don't have to wait 3 seconds before your next shot. |

Blue Springs here, rifle wise, I don't goto a range for rifle much, because the Lake City conservation range that is 5 minutes from my house sucks. I am a member of Bucksnort in Marshall, however I haven't made it out there yet. Pistol I goto Crossfire in Independence on Truman road. |
BaNo, you see my post in the 'Ranges' sticky? |
check'n for BS I got to say if you can swing the first years $250 and then $150 a year after that Pioneer is the sh!t You get a key and can go 24\7 as long as they dont have any reserved shoots. Indoor range is on the edge of KC, Raytown and Independence, 350hwy and Noland Rd. Outdoor range is a little farther out but only about 20min east from BS. Crossfire is nice and the people are great! Lake City is a last resort only! nice range, cheap, close, Ran by Natzi's ![]() |
Just to meet some local shooters. To see how the other half live and what they are shooting. I don't do a lot of shooting due to having two sons ( 18 & 15 ) and a wife that takes up most of my time. Between football, wrestling and track I hunt or do a little blinking. I'm in the market for an Ar, I just have not got the chance to go and buy it. I was going to go to the fun show last weekend to get a 14.7" Cmmg but ran out of time. I'll have to stick with the Ak until the next show.

I head out to Bucksnort at least once a month, shoot me a pm and maybe you could meet us out there. Its a nice little club, lots of privacy, and cheap. The only downside is the 45 minute drive, but its an easy drive. Let me know if you are interested. I shoot with another guy out here in Blue Springs that I work with. I'm not sure what everyone else is doing, but it may be fun to get a Blue Springs shoot together in the Spring. I'm sure I could reserve the range out there. Scott |

Hey, you might include me in with that group if something goes down. My family farm is about 10 minutes away from Bucksnort. Maybe we could have a BBQ or bonfire or something afterwards. ETA: I've also got a good shooting table and a new chronograph that I've yet to play with yet. I've also got some card table chairs that I could snag from the farm. |

Count me in on the Bucksnort shoot. I have a buddy that's a member and shoots CMP out ther, but I've never done it. To tell you the truth, I've never really shot past 200yds. I'd love to pick y'alls brains and enhance my marksmanship. If I knew enough guys that went that way I'd join and we could switch up carpool vehicles every time we went out. Soften the blow to the ole' wallet and all. |

Well, I'm in the middle of trying to get the latest info about Bucksnort. Apparently the old president has now retired. I know someone posted his name, address, and phone number in another thread, but he will not oblige anyone wanting to join Bucksnort. The new president is from Jeff City from what I've been told. I'm trying to get his correct contact info, but my best friend is being obtuse. He apparently can't remember to call me back like he said he would. I'll try and get an update soon. |
Get out of class? Are you a teacher or some thing? Hey do any of you know a FFL from Blue Springs that can get me some CMMG stuff?
|
No, prior military, current college student.
