Thats good. Thanks. |
k, if thats the way you guys are gonna be then look for me in something a bit more flashy and maybe, just maybe bright pink and yellow crocs.... (That ought to show you fellers sumthin') |
Picked up a cmmg bargain rack woo hoo |
Neat, interesting rifle to say the least. Of course since it is so unique and you did mention it here you will have to supply a range report about it as soon as possible. I am very interested in how well regulated (Ha ha, second amendment term right there) it is. (BTW, regulated in regard to firearms concerns how well the point of impact for the two separate barrels relate to the point of aim) I picked up two stripped lowers. I assembled them and attached them to two orphaned uppers I had laying about which brings me to a grand total of 6 AR15 type rifles (unless you count the UM50, a .50BMG upper on a AR15 lower, that would make my total 7 ARs but who is counting?) Next step, strip the XM177 clone upper apart and replace the barrel with a .300 whisper set up. BTW, the show wasn't bad. Crowded as hell and of course the CMMG table was constantly swarmed but overall it was a decent show. |

The show was good CMMG got some of my money. I picked up a quad rail and a Pmag30 looks good so far now I just want to try the pmag. Of course now I need optics and a light but its a start. I also need a flattop upper to change out my older one. I was so tempted by the $595 rack but $ is tight right now so it will have to wait for a bit. |

I made it as far as St. Charles, and headed to the airport instead, and then Fastlane Classic Cars. There's a '66 Vette with lakers that called to me. Unfortunately, the connection was bad, there's not enough money to pay that phone bill. I told myself I would rather have a Cobra, anyway. ![]() Don't go there, you'll see a restored '74 Dodge, or some other car, just like the one you sold for $320 - you'll just know that you should have stored it in the back of the barn. |

Gary The lower barrel has a system to allow it to be adjusted. I figure i'll get the top barrel on paper, and then adjust the lower barrel. BTW it's got a built in rail, so I'm going to put some type of scope on it. Nice wood, about 8 pounds, and really cheap. BTW, the barrels are changeable, so I'm going to start looking for a set of 45-70 barrels. It's kind of unique, but it should be fun. I'm sure I'll bring it out to the next CMMG shoot. Now I need to contact CMP and order up a case of '06. Sure hope my paperwork is current there. |
