possible new range > Missouri

I've been approched about a new range opening in mid Mo. and was wondering if any of the old M.O.D.C.C. group would be interested in getting it off the ground. If the intrest is there I'm 99% sure we can get the land and the backing for a first class establishment. Those of you interested, shoot me a I.M.

To answer some of your questions this range will be just north of Sturgon Mo. It is being funded by the Night Hawk Corp and will be apart of the Carl Edwards Sports Complex. If all goes well, we will have 50 acers and 100,000 dollars to get started. So we are looking for a dedicated support staff to get things rolling. The final meeting to get all this started is tomorrow, and I will post what happens.

Will this range be in competition with the Green Valley Club? I ask, because it isn't too far away...

We don't want to be in compition with any of the local ranges . We do want to put on pro shoot if that what your asking.

Got a question if you can answer it. This Night Hawk, is this the bore scope one or I did see a real estate one in my search. Just curious who is backing this venture.

It is the real estate cop. they are the ones doing the sports plex. And it is an individual that is fronting the funds.

Some of us got together today had breakfast and talked about how things should be run. Then we took a trip out to the property and had a look at the lay of the land.It seems as if every thing is in order to get started.

The cynic in me has a hard time believing that a "sports complex" can coexist with a shooting range.

Somehow I just have trouble seeing soccer moms and trap shooters at the same facility.

Just so this dosnt turn into a pissing contest there is are 480 acr to the complex more then we all need. And yes I see mom's and dad's both playing at our play ground.
