I am in KCMO this weekend and have all day on Monday to run around. It has been a long time since I lived here and there are a couple of places I plan on hitting. One place in NKC (I forget the name) and the range in ???? oh its by claycomo on 69 if I remember right. Any recomendations for gun shops and or camping and out door gear? I know its short notice but asking just occured to me. Thanks |

Thanks, I ended up renting a car and driveing back to MN, frickin guys that work for me couldn't keep it together for a couple of days. I forgot all about Mickeys and I like that little pizza place just down the mall from Tanners much better. Had that Sat. night. What I really miss is the 24 hour mexican restraunt. And the Bar-B-Q. And the Italian. Oh I miss the food. |
Waldo's pizza? Ya thats some good stuff too. The St. Louis thin crust. Glad you had a good time. What happened to the guys that work for ya? They get shitfaced and cause a scene? ![]() I may or may not have done that with my boss in Chicago.

Shit faced, arrested, no show no call. He just did it again a couple of nights ago making that 3 times in 6 months. Called me at midnight this last time and wanted me to bail him out for $2400. I told him to sit tight and then went back to bed. It will be interesting if he shows up on Monday. Wonder if he can take a hint. Edited: I just remembered this Italian place my partner used to work at part time. Every once in a while we would swing in there while on duty and pick up some chicken spidini.....Oh god I miss the food. Cant even find chicken spidini here. |

Can't. As an employer I can not say anything about his drinking. It would be considered an addiction and I could be held to pay for his treatment. The issue is in its basic form the fact that he does not show up for work. I could possibly make a case that all his arrests have been for "violent" things. Bar fight, domestic, plain old fight. True, they all involved drinking, but that is not illegal nor any of my business as it is on his time. I have given this guy a lot of chances and tried to help him. I thought about the AAA thing untill I considered the liability that would open me too. Not getting into that can for this schmuck. Cheaper to hire someone else. I have already put his termination in his file along with the rest of his discipline notices. They might come in handy when he tries to claim unemployment. |

You probably have more character than he and are worth investing in. He last went to jail for a domestic, he's single and lives with his parents, his father was not there. Then lied to me to get me downtown in the middle of the night to bail him out. I want this guy away from me, my business, my customers, and MY FAMILY. Trust me I know what your talking about though. The best thing my father ever did for me was quit drinking. |
Very understandable. |
