Ok, planning trip for late March with a buddy to do some hog hunting.  I've been reading about Bankhead and Talladega.  Anyone have any advice as which would be better spot?  The plan is to come down (from Ohio) and spend the week camping and hunting.

Any advice or suggestions about location, etc. would be apperciated.
Also from what I can tell we need AL small game non-res license and WMA permit if we plan to hunt in WMA.  Not sure the WMA makes much sense if you can't hunt with your rifle.
I was reading an old thread that mentions ARs 10 round mag required is that still true?

I'm hoping to eventually run into a land owner that needs some hogs/coyotes shot and is willing to get a nighttime nuisance permit.  Farthest North I've heard of hogs is Cullman, so not a lot of talk about hogs yet.

I have heard rumors of them on Sand Mountain.
