I was a proud Dad today to be with my 14 y.o. daughter when she killed her 1st deer, a small one-horned spike. She took him with her SAKO 243 rifle @ 85 yds. Shot him in the neck, he went straight down. She turned and looked at me and asked " did I shoot him in the right place "? I said, yeah, I believe you shot him in the right place, you did good, Baby. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
I was watching her when she squeezed the trigger. She didn't breathe hard, flinch, or shake in any way. Excitement didn't start until after the shot. Congrats, BabyDoll, here is your pic:
