Was wondering if anyone can recomend a good source for reloading equipment & components in or around the Huntsville area?

Specificly looking for powder - Alliant Power Pistol, Hodgdon Titegroup, WIN 231, Hodgdon H335, etc

40 cal 180 Grain / 45 cal 230 grain bullets, etc.  Already checked the normal places Gander Mountain, etc

Not sure if Larry's will order reloading powder in.  I've seen and bought primers there just never any powder or bullets.

Thanks,

The manager of the firearm's shop at Gander Mountain said they are going to be stocking powder and reloading components again. Vann's Sporting Goods in Cullman also has a pretty good selection of reloading components.

Believe it or not, the WalMart in Fayetteville Tn has a pretty good reloading section. My son buys stuff there regularly and I think they will even order stuff if you ask them to.

If you ever get down to the B'ham area, Simmons in Bessemer is the place to go.

Ever since Wylie's Hsv store closed (due to Gander Mtn), reloading components in north AL have been hit or miss.

One idea is to log onto the local Shootability forum and see if you can get in on a group buy.  There's at least one dealer on there that buys stuff in bulk.

Good luck.

Didn't they change it so you have to be doing IDPA or something like that to join it?

JC's over on Jordan has some components. I bought some Titegroup there a few months back for $25/lb if I remember right.

JC's has powder.  Prices suck, around $40 / lb for Varget the last time I was in there, but if you really need it....

I was in there this past weekend.  Prices were high and I thought I would check other places as well before I decided to pay their prices.

Craig's in Athens also has reloading supplies. I've bought some dies there. They have powder, primers and projectiles but not what I needed when I was there. Prices seemed ok.
