Are there any local Alabama gun forums like there is bayoushooter for South Louisiana. I am going to be moving back to Huntsville from New Orleans because of finishing school up.

ALOC, BamaCarry, DefendAlabama, Alabama Shooter's and Shootability are five that I know of other than the Arfcom AL HTF.

I think Shootability recently changed their policy to only take new members that compete in local matches. |

Correct : Shootability recently restricted membership to competitive shooters only. That puts me out - I've always been a hunter/paper puncher. Real nice folks though.
in the future we are going to limit new members to folks that have already shot and are competing in IDPA and or USPSA or another organized shooting activity.

there is a major lack of gun forums for Alabama
I am a mod on theourdoorstrader.com and am trying to get a section for Alabama going, which will then transition to it's own entity once membership supports it. currently the trading portion of the site is broken into Georgia and then national for all other states. |
