No ranges have been layed out yet... I just listed all the ranges that "could" be placed into the master plan... On first blush we are looking at 10 or more tactical pistol bays....
There seems to be a complete change of shooting sports from yesteryear..... Dennis |

good news then, that can attract some competitive shooters, the old sports will not...
glad to see this project getting started, I was afraid the good old boy politics of that "commission" controlling the land in Tallaedga Co. would never see this as a worthy cause... this would be a great venue for a major USPSA match and DT1's tactical carbine match some day |

I have been working this project for 2 years now on a up hill struggle... But after the public hearings on the 20th and 27th we go into the master planning phase and then work on the grant money. Hopefully 18 month to 2 years and we shall be sending lead down range...

No, there will be a range fee yet to be determined..
But it will not require you to be a member of the complex in order to shoot. It is a park that has a park authority board that runs it for the cities of Talladega and Lincolin. It will have to generate funds for operation as it is not funded by the taxpayers.. |
