Good day, I read a disturbing news item regarding your company firing an employee named Eric Henderson in the Pensacola, FL area. It appears Mr Henderson was the victim of a robbery at the Circle K location in which he worked. Per the report one of the assailants was yelling for their armed accomplice to shoot Mr Henderson, and fearing for his life, he attempted to prevent his assailants from murdering him, by disarming them. For the unconscionable act of daring to prevent his own murder, it appears Circle K has chosen to relieve the victim of this crime of his employment. It appears Circle K is more concerned with litigation from criminals than the safety of it's employees. I will continue to follow this story, and if the facts play out as described, be assured that Circle K management's decision has cost them any future business from myself, my family, many of my coworkers, and as many friends as I can convince. Perhaps Circle K should swallow it's pride and reconsider the consequences of this action. Good day. |
