our beagle is acting strange . |
| She is around eleven and has been the best housebroken dog ever. Never pees in the house. Over the last week she is peeing in the floor everyday. Sometimes at night also. Wife thinks its because we are expecting our second child and she is acting out. I don't know what it. Is. Any ideas? |

Urinary tract infection and diabetes are the first things I would consider, with kidney disease following close behind due to age. Acting out usually involves targeting items of clothing, etc. belonging to whatever person they resent at the moment. Sounds like it would be worth checking things out at your regular vet... and congrats on the baby!
-Hobbit Edit: Forgot to mention estrogen-dependent "Spay incontinence", happens a lot in older spayed females. Very treatable. |
