Short answer... Yup. I think the last publicised one was back in December, seems I recall a group getting together at Monte Sano SP in Huntsville. I can't seem to find how to use the search feature to just search the community forums, but by Googling I recall the title of the threads were "Mens Weekend". Judging by the play by play reports and photos... it sounded like it was at the very least, a fun weekend. It had to be, how better could it get than to mix cold, tents, and a campfire and I think it was reported a couple of the attendees were gi'tar pickers. -FatRascal |
Yup, it's called "Men's Weekend", and it is held the first weekend after Christmas, yearly. Not to say there could not be more, that would be fun! We had a fairly good turnout this last year! And it's Reddog3_d and I that had guitars. I would hardly call us "players", but we *do* have guitars!
