So I just moved from the b'ham to Columbus. Whats going on here, I don't know a soul outside of work so I'd love any info.

Garys Pawn and Gun in Columbus is where I bought my first 1911 in 1995. The day I turned 21. Used to rappel off the bridge over the Tombigbi also.

They're also overpriced, but a nice place to go finger fuck stuff. They have a nice inventory. I'm over in Starkville, but my girlfriend lives in Columbus, so I'm over there all the time. There are a few ARFCOMer's over there.

Yeah, I visited Gary's yesterday, and wow... overpriced is a nice way of putting it. My buddy's little brother plays for state so we'll be in starkville quite a bit in the fall.

Sounds to me like there needs to be a group shoot arranged.

There are a few of us that shoot in Starkville fairly often. We're all in school here. IM me sometime. Some of us might be shooting IDPA here in Starkville in June.

ETA: Keep your eye out for a white 4x4 Dodge Ram with a 3" white BFL in the back glass.

Yeah I lived in Columbus for 2 years in high school and Starkville for 5. As far as "what goes on in Columbus" the answer is nothing.

If you reload, Gary's has decent prices on powder and primers and I got a fair deal on a stripped lower a couple years ago but other than that they're high.
