No, not the Governor's race... we can start yelling at each other over that in a few months. ![]() Who will win the once-great game formerly known (and still referred to by some, but not me FWIW, I think it is 'Bama's year regardless of what happens between now and then. What say you?... |

WE don't play the Barn for three weeks. I'm focused on Mississippi State and no one else, and I know the team is, too. That said, I've watched this Alabama team every game now, and I see something that I haven't seen in a while...a quiet confidence, a desire to win, and I think they are a special team, that just finds ways to win...even when they prolly shouldn't. THAT said, it depends on Alabama's Offensive line...If we can run the ball a lick, and give Brodie a little time to throw, we win. If not, we get our asses handed to us. It'll be an all out war, as it always is. Either way, I'm proud of this team and proud of our Coach...he's got us on track and is doing it the right way. Oh, and I wouldn't count your "W" for the Coonass Kitties from Red Stick just yet, alaman... SG |
Amen. I was happy with the choice when he was hired and thought he had great potential... if the fans would just give him a chance. I've said it before, but we run off better coaches from this state than most schools can ever hope to get... I was afraid Shula might have to duck window-bricks of his own if this season didn't start/go well. I'm glad the wins started coming when they did... maybe he can stay around long enough to really build the program back up. |
I would have loved to have been wrong about that re: the LSU game... This Saturday's UA/AU game may be a very interesting one indeed! |
No, nothing sinister. When I'm right I'm right and when I'm wrong (as extremely rarely as that might be Besides, the majority of respondents (pre-game) voted for 'Bama too... |
