I recon I will rant about Montgomery's pistol permit application procedure.  You have to be 21 one to apply.  You can't come even one day early, You have to apply in person, and they are not open when you are off work.  I'm just venting.  I turned 21 on a Saturday a week ago.  And that Monday I started my summer job in Ga.  I work from 8 to 6 M-F.  No chance of me getting a whole day off.  I can't carry anything for protection for another 3 months.  Man.  If only the Sheriffs department would have been helpful.

Wait till you get a wife an kids.

A trip to the Sheriffs department will feel like a field trip.

It's all perception.

I can't really sympathize with you.  Their policy is pretty standard and isn't new.  If the permit was so important to you, why didn't you start your job on Tuesday?  Too bad your employer wasn't helpful.

Hey.  I ain't complaining about the Sheriffs.  Just a little frustrated with the Permit office.  I tried to get off on Monday but one of my coworkers was taking that week off and there was just two people in the shop.  Well.  Who cares for now as long as I'm in running distance of my truck I'm ok.
