Mona came up with a good idea.

Anyone interested in a Family Fun day at six flags in atlanta one weekend? Bring out the whole family and every meet there for a day of fun. If we get enough interest hopefully we can get a group discount. What about it guys?

Google led me to this, which isn't very informative, and is comprised mainly of conjecture and hearsay.

I couldn't find anything in their park policies as listed on their website, but the metal detectors and bag searches tell me they'd probably deny you entry to the park.

being a major theme park i can assure you most likely have a no weapon policy. Sad but a fact of life. As much as i would also like to carry there are times when it just is not an option.
