I am working on putting together a group that would be interested in this course. It is a Tactical pistol and carbine class taught by a certified SIG instructor.

The instructor is Gethan Jones and will be taught over a 3 day period at a range here in Bham. <most likely FOP but possibly Steel City> The cost will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 200.00 each and we need a minimum of 8 people commited for the class. Date is flexible and we can get together to schedule at everyones convienence.

Completeing the class gives you a SIG certification and a 100.00 gift certificate toward the purchase of any SIG firearm.

If interested IM me or email me.

Hey, goober.  ARH and I were talking about doing this and we think we can get all the people together.  However, it just dawned on me that all the guys would be from GA.  Just struck me as a little funny.

We're thinking maybe sometime in April.  That cool with you?

Good to hear it!  Ya know, it's gonna be funny as hell taking a Sig class when we'll all be showing up with Kimbers and other 1911s.

Mike, any clue how many rounds we'll be shooting.  That could get REAL expensive (for anyone shooting factory .45 loads at least).  Any other clue on the gear we might need, format for the class, etc.?

Interested - if the class is in GA or much closer to the border than FOP.  I also read somewhere SIG training classes insist you use SIG pistols.  Sounds like this might not be an official class, so will we be allowed to use <gasp>  a 1911?  I also want to know how much ammo to bring - not because of cost but because too few rounds would be a bummer

Ok, I'm gonna need more info here.  My Sig just called from the safe and said we were interested.

Mike , Might have 2 or more on my end , depends on date. The FOP Range is no trouble , I can get us a good classroom in the Grove if needed. There are cheap Hotels close by.

from what i was told The instructor does not care WHAT kind of firearm we are using. i dont own a sig either. I will try to get with him as soon as possible and get ALL the specifcs. I first wanted to make sure we had enough interest before i put the time into it.
