Anyone heard rumor of it going away?

That rumor has been around as long as the lifetime permit has. Lifetime permits arent going away anytime soon.
I got the lifetime permit so I never have to go through the renewal process again. Unless you are 90 plus
years old go lifetime and be done with it.

I swear, some of you guys need to pay attention to the political process that this stuff takes to get it changed or "go away".

Read the IC....is their an end date?

Biggest gunshop rumor going for the last 3 years. Don't know how it started or why it keeps being told.

I got mine a year ago, wife hasent got hers yet, my boss said his wifes friend told her it was ending the 15th of dec I told him ive heard that before he swore it was true.

As often as this comes up maybe we need a locked sticky at the top of the page proclaiming the lifetime permit is not going away.

They need to hire more people to help them process permits. The waits are getting ridiculous.

ive heard this since the day they announced it, i tell everyone the same thing, jim tomes and the group he was involved in (the second amendment patriots) pushed hard for this, since that time jim has been elected to the indiana state senate, do you really think he's going to let anybody take away the lifetime permit?

Not to feed the fire and I do not think it is coming, but they did take away lifetime hunting and fishing years ago.
