Does anyone know of any that are coming up in the Northern part of the state?

Have not heard of any in a few years now. I took in two junk pistols to one about 6 years ago and got $100 in gift cards for two broken POS pistols i got from someone that just wanted to get rid of them.

Great plan! Take two crappy guns and get a $100 bucks, then wait for somebody to walk in with something good and give them $100 for one good gun!

They usually give out Walmart giftcards.

I was just going to get 500 rounds of 9mm.

Take two or three hundred dollars and wait outside for something good to walk in.

You are missing the point...sell guns are broken or POS, take their money, spend it on firearm related stuff, profit from their stupidity.

While I agree with Ban-Hater that buy backs are foolish programs, it is also hard to argue with the logic of turning in junk guns to spend that money on other firearm related products.

I'm so glad we don't do that non-sense here.  It would probably make we cry to see nice guns get turned in for peanuts only to be destroyed.

Oh I don't like them either, when good or priceless guns are destroyed, but getting rid of guns that just will not work and are worthless...then take their money and buy ammo, parts, cleaning supplies, targets, etc.

5,500 guns at $100 each is $550,000.  Do you think Chicago might have found a better use for the money in this economy?

Will they take flare guns?
I'm in Lafayette and if someone local is going I have 3 potentials. I will give $75 of the $300 to anyone heading that way

I have seen flare guns at buy backs. Take'em.
