Is Michigan City and Goshen on the same time or is Goshen an hour ahead?

Going to the Utah Permit class at MGE in Goshen tomorrow and don't want to be an hour late.  Since Mitch botched the time zone thing I'm just in the dark about it.

Anyone else going to the class?

Michigan City is on central time and Goshen is on eastern time. Goshen is a hour ahead.

What I thought but a bud in Mishawaka said other wise.  Thanks.

No problem.  I live in Laporte county and work in South Bend so I've kind of gotten used to the split time zones.

Since the Governor normalized our time changes, the answer will always be Goshen (though Midwest Gun & Range is a lot closer to Elkhart than Goshen, but same answer) will always be an hour ahead of Michigan City. Before it would have been a different answer depending on whether it's winter or summer. The Governor made this question easier for you to answer.

Make sure you have good directions to the range. It's hard to find if you don't know exactly where you're going.

That always confused the hell out of me before.  I remember going to S. Bend or Indy and arriving an hour early or late more often than on time.  Thanks for clearing up the time thing.

20 east to 17 north and then some zigging and zagging from what I'm told.  Left onto Beck which turns into Roske, right onto Wyland the right onto Rush.

Mitch did just fine with the time zone for Elkhart County!
