I have found myself geting into a rut lately. Work Sleep Work Sleep Work Sleep....Boring!!  Anyways every ARFCOMMER knows how to cure that I've been burning through some  223/556, 9mm and 12 ga the past couple weeks.  I feel much better now. I really do need a 22 upper, I'm down to 5K of 223/556 range ammo

The only trigger time I've had lately is the trigger on my release aid.

Other than a full-auto Krink at Clint's shoot, I haven't fired anything larger than a .22LR since last November, and I haven't shot the .22LR more than 25 rounds in the last year.

I really try to get out one afternoon a week for a few hours of trigger time, and usually utilize a bolt .308 or a M1A, and sometimes a pistol. Rifle rounds expended per trip averages about 100, while on occasions the pistol is wielded, 2-300 is the norm. I find shooting very rewarding, and thus budget my time and finances accordingly.

Nice Bow. I have never shot mine. I bought for $50 off a guy getting divorced. It's nowhere near as advanced as yours.

Went out today and put some rounds into the back stop, it was a great day for this time of the year and really enjoyed it.

Once deer season starts, the amount of ammo I go through on the weekends drops substantially.

My son and I are also still shooting the bows, getting some trigger time in on the shotguns and the .44 mag. for firearms season (and the muzzleloaders too).

The only other trigger time is to check my loads for reloading the 5.56 & 7.62s. Thats my busy work while watching TV this winter.... 1000s of rounds to reload for next season.

I have been playing some string music also.  I put a doe in the freezer a little over  a week ago, now its time to find a shooter buck.  Good luck to all the hunters this season, be safe out there!

I qualified with my M4 last Thursday. Hit 40/40 for expert.....again.

20 rds prone supported, 10 rds prone unsupported and 10 rds kneeling.

Beautiful weather out here in Al Anbar Province right now. Only in the 90's and believe me, that's pleasant after 120+ for 4 straight months.

Man, I'm really looking forward to freezing my ass of in Sweet Home Indiana this winter. Not much longer now.

AIRBORNE!
