The DNR meeting regarding this issue was last night, but I didn't attend. I have seen reports from a few people that did attend, and they all stated that the majority was in favor of the proposal. The DNR is supposed to make its final decision sometime in May. To clarify one thing, it won't just legalize lever-action rifles, it will allow any rifle regardless of action type as long as the round meets the following criteria: .357" minimum bullet diameter 1.16" minimum case length without bullet 1.625" maximum case length without bullet |
