Guy was a nut case
Looks like he had a few prior firearm violations, so why he wasn't in the pokey escapes me; however as you may think when you read the article, it looks as if he is being made out to be worse than he is, if that's even possible. Looked him up in MD Case Search, not a gun owner of the year type. And seriously, if you had all the stuff hey claimed he had, why would you be stupid enough to shoot a kid in the leg with a BB rifle. Then again, criminals are pretty stupid. In other news, a jailhouse phone is probably not the best device for telling a friend to sanatize your dwelling. Just a Pro Tip for you Some quotes: The BB gun used in the assault, a loaded 9mm handgun, a 12-gauge shotgun, 3 boxes of ammunition, handcuffs, brass knuckles, other BB guns and airsoft pistols and a stun gun. Besides the stuff in red, the items are not illegal in Baltimore County/MD AFAIK. So all I got here is brass knuckles and a stun gun - which you can make from a disposable camera BTW. What's that - like a year probation? Police also observed "several improvised explosive devices (and they know that how, exactly?), including: C-4 explosive material (so they tested it and the guy had actual C-4? Somehow I doubt that); and a clear plastic container with gray powder and a M-800 pyrotechnic device (what is that anyway?) inside, secured with a white lid with a burnt hole in the center." (redneck ashtray maybe?) Authorities searched the apartment a second time and said they found "items commonly used in the production of illegal improvised explosives, including, among other things: containers of potassium nitrate and potassium chlorate, smokeless shotgun powder, model rocket igniters and motors, pool chemicals, various fuse materials, PVC and metal pipe of varying lengths and pipe fittings."
And they are also commonly used for a host of other, very legal things. Serious WTF on their conclusions. In addition to bomb making materials, police said they found books with titles such as "The Anarchist Cookbook," "Blaster's Handbook," "The Chemistry of Powder and Explosives," "Improvised Radio Detonation Techniques," "The Do-It-Yourself Gunpowder Cookbook," "Home-Built Claymore Mines," and "Ragnar's Homemade Detonators –– How to Make 'Em, How to Salvage 'Em, How to Detonate 'Em."
The Anarchist Cookbook I had once upon a time in a PDF - LAME. I think it was mostly about putting super glue in locks
So, you reload, did some plumbing work, have a pool, have worked on a pool and have the SAS survival handbook = domestic terrorist
Careful out there, the stupid is getting dangerous. |

If he's has previous convictions for handguns violations or a host of other crimes he's a prohibited person via state and federal laws from possessing firearms.
The other things are up to a court to decide. Just because he was charged with it doesnt mean he's guilty. That's our legal system and like it or not it's probably the best in the free world still. If you want Mr. Innocent living next to you feel free. I however think this guy should be charged and convicted and hopefully placed in jail for a long sentance. Who punishes their kid via shooting them a BB gun. There was also more "circumstanial" evidence that indicated the guy was likely up to no good then what was described in that blog. |

Oh - he belongs behind bars, I am not debating that and he's a nut case. Don't get me wrong here pard, I am only concerned with the conclusions reached by circumstantial "evidence." And IIRC the article said he just pled guilty. |
