Nothing had been done yet, they are still looking for bids. I got this from http://ccgovernment.carr.org/ccg/default.asp look at the bottom right under bids Bids are due by August 1 so maybe later that month they will get started -------------------------------------------------- Invitation for Bids AD# 1393- Construction of Pavilion at the Hap Baker Firearm Facility - 36-F-1-07/08 Project Description: This bid request is intended to provide the basis for the contracting with a single vendor to provide all materials, labor, and equipment required for the Construction of a 24’ x 80’ Pavilion at the Hap Baker (Carroll County) Firearms Facility, located at 1200 Baltimore Boulevard, Westminster, Maryland 21157. The work includes, but not limited to, supplying all materials for the construction of a 24’ x 80’ pavilion with special provisions, including the construction of two (2) eighty foot (80’) long (stone filled) baffles, and the construction of two (2) seventy-five foot (75’) long side walls/baffles (stone filled). The successful contractor shall also provide and install all electrical, concrete, and other incidental work as required. This project is to rebuild a pavilion, which was destroyed by fire. Time is of the essence and contractors who cannot meet the time lines should not submit a bid. Pre-Bid Meeting: A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. EST, July 24, 2007 at the Carroll County Firearms Facility, 1200 Baltimore Boulevard, Westminster, Maryland. All interested contractors are urged to attend. The purpose of the pre-bid meeting is to clarify, explain, or provide additional information needed to submit a competitive sealed bid. Submittal Deadline: Sealed Bids will be received until August 1, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. EST at the Carroll County Bureau of Purchasing, 225 North Center Street, Room 308,Westminster, MD 21157. Immediately thereafter, the bids will be publicly opened and read in Conference Room (124C).
