Section 4 of the MDSP LIcense & Permit Application states: Note: "A permit to use, possess, or purchase bulletproof body armor is not required for persons not convicted of a violence or drug trafficking crime." I have never been arrested. I called MDSP yesterday and asked for an interpretation on the Note and was told it means "If you've got a record don'ts even bother applying, but if you're clean you still need to apply for the permit." At least this is what I thought I heard. I called MDSP again today and spoke w/ a different person who said she specializes in permits and she said "Note means if you have a clean record you can buy/possess whatever body armor you want, and the previous advice or my interpretation of such was wrong." Anyone know first hand? TIA IP |

Be careful buying used or old gear, that stuff has a definite shelf life and is adversely affected by perspiration, among other things. www.free-press-release-center.info/pr00000000000000002684.html |
