[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Minor Transporting Firearms?

Is it legal here in MD for someone under 18 to transport a non-regulated firearm as long as they have parental consent and are transporting to a bona fide range, dealer, gunsmith, etc., and it is not loaded? Particularly interested in non-regulated firearms (.22 bolt rifle and Colt HBar AR). Thanks!

I used to do it all the time. The one time I was pulled over with my shotgun, I informed the officer I was on teh way to the range and that was that.
