I'm coming over to DC tomorrow for a conference.  I'll be in town for a week.  I want to visit the following:

Holocaust museum
Air and Space
National Zoo
Natural History museum
National Art gallery
National Spy museum

Korean War memorial
Vietnam War memorial
Lincoln memorial
White house
Capitol
Arlington cemetery
Goethe Institut

I don't know if I will be able to hit all these, but are there any other places you recommend?  Restaurants/bars?

Thanks,

Black Irish

Not too familiar with DC but for fair warning I've heard DC lowered its BAC to something rediculously low like .02 or something.  Not that you'll probably be driving.  Stay safe and have fun!  If you manage to find your way up to B-more area let us know maybe we can meet at Hooters for a dinner.

Skip the Zoo.  Other than the Pandas it's a waste, it has really gone down from it's hey-day in the 1970s.  I was very disappointed last time I went there.

The Air & Space Annex at Dulles is a hoot if you're into airplanes.  It's a huge hanger will all kinds of neat stuff they couldn't fit into the main A&S building.  Highlights include an SR-71, Enola Gay, Space Shuttle Enterprise, the parafoil wing version of the Gemini, a Concord, an F-35 pre-production, and they are supposed to be displaying a German Flying wing (it was not on display when I was there - but the card identifiying it was there).

Oh as for the White House - unless you get in line REALLY early I'd check to see if the concierge at your hotel has access to some tickets.
