I will offer that if you are really going to carry a lot, the smaller the better.  I have carried a lot of different guns and keep migrating to smaller and smaller pistols.  A G19 is a great pistol, but it's still pretty big and bulky for IWB carry and impossible for pocket carry.  I will occasionally carry a G27 in the winter if I have a good cover shirt on, but that's the biggest gun I ever carry anymore.  Almost always it's a Kahr PM40 with normal clothing or a Kahr P380 for summer type wear.  The P380 can be carried almost any way I want to carry it - front pocket, back pocket, coat pocket, IWB, whatever.  It's tiny and extremely flat and no one would ever know it's there with any of the above carry methods.  Obviously, the .380 is not the best round for stopping power, but compromises have to be made somewhere, and the .380 in my pocket or on my belt is better than the .45 at home in the safe.  Lots of guys carry much larger guns than I do and more power to them.  For me, the weight and discomfort is enough to push me to a smaller one.

There are lots of good holsters out there.  Assuming you plan on carrying IWB at least some of the time (seems to be the most common method), I'd recommend checking out the Crossbreed SuperTuck line.  Very flat and spreads the weight out nicely and does not move around.  Not a beautiful holster, but extremely functional.  There are several other companies that make holsters very similar to it that probably work just as well.  Pocket holsters are pretty hit-or-miss, and I have collected quite a few in my search for the perfect one.  None are perfect, but several are good enough for use in one way or another.  My current favorite also happens to be from Crossbreed - I believe they call it the Pocket Rocket.

Make sure to get a good belt designed for carrying a firearm.  Makes a huge difference over a standard, department-store type of belt.

Good luck,
Erik

I always reach for the G19, Crossbreed horse hide supertuck with a wilderness belt.
I did touch up the kydex a little bit with a heat gun. It felt a tad too loose but a very easy fix.

Crossbreed for +1000 and any double stack gun. They are not cheap holsters and should last as long as your Glock.

I have a Don Hume iwb clip holster for my Kahr K-9 and it functions equally well when out and about.

The Don Hume clip holsters are really good, for the price. I carried my full-size 1911 in one for a year before I got a Galco King Tuk. The GKT is more comfortable but I still use the Don Hume when I'm going somewhere I know I'll have to leave my gun in the vehicle, the DH is much quicker to detach and reattach.

I will also second the suggestion for a good stiff gun belt. Going from a crappy Walmart belt to the Don Hume belt was like night and day. Everything stays right where you put it, no more flopping around.

Wilderness Instructor's Belt, Milt Sparks Summer Special for my 5" 1911.

For my G19, I use a Comp-Tac Infidel w/loops. But I almost never carry it these days...

This for holster and belt. Spring for the horsehide and combat cut, I didn't and modified mine, it works but not quite the same.

Got a link to the belt?  I'm looking to get something better than what I have.

3" Ruger Sp101  in an Old Faithful holster. It's my only carry rig now, so it's gotta be my favorite. Waiting on a set of wooden grips to come as the rubber grips just irritated me. It was always catching my shirt and not a fun situation. A better belt is on the way too!

HK USP40C. Purchased during the AWB due to size, punch, and capacity.

Love it. Can't wait to get my CCW so I can carry it again.

I use a Shielded Holsters  Softer than a SuperTuck, cheaper, and arrive in a week instead of 5 weeks.
