Wow you got clobbered! Sorry to see so much damage. We didn't have any destruction near as bad as yours, and we just got our power back on an hour ago. It's nice to have running water again.

power went out, and then the winds starting really going. It lasted for a good 2 hours. After that got the genny out and hooked up. but by 6am the power was back on. On the way to work i counted 34 power line poles down. the tops were just snapped off.

We got power back on shortly after I got back home with water, and more gas for the generator. Wish you luck with the chickens, I've grown rather fond of mine.

What town do you live close to?

I live just east of Willmar and we had just a few tree branches down. I got to drive in the storm from Marshall to Willmar. Probably the most freaked out I have ever been in a storm.

just west of Hutchinson. They say it was just wind but power line and trees were snapped in different direction.

Was up in St. Cloud yesterday, and they got hammered! Big trees down all over.

Cambridge and Harris both got hammered good. People just North of Stacy got hit and also lost power, but in between Stacy and Harris (North Branch), power just flickered and minimal damage.

Is that chicken trapped in the old kennel, or just nosing around?

that was a 9x12 dog kennel i was using as a chicken coop until i build one. i had a spare dog house that they slept in at night. that chicken got trapped in there, broke her leg. I'm not sure what i should do with her.

Sorry man. I will be spending next weekend cleaning up the family cabins in northern Wisconsin. No chickens to worry about up there though.
