| for people near the northern part of the twin cities. what do you look for in a gun range. for example, long distances for shooting rifles (over 300M) or many divided lanes so people dont have to wait for other who are down range. for pistols, many steel targets at different ranges and different sizes. and also having divided lanes about 75M long that people can set up targets to do some slight movement shooting. these are just some things i have in mind for a good range. let me know what you all think. |
| im kind of toying with the idea of building one. but i am getting deployed soon and when i come back i want to do gunsmithing out west in CO. so if i do it wont be for a few years... this post is more for a random discussion and trying to see what other ranges may be like. plus it is just fun to think about. |

We need one of these up here. MaDuece was a member here, not sure if he still it or not, and runs Tiger Valley. Gun Stock was held there as was at least one ARFCOM Christmas shoot that I attended. Multiple shooting bays with paper target, silhouette steel, pepper popper, and plate racks. Full PALMA range to 1000+ yards. Training building and camping area. Run competitions, classes, and fun shoots. |
