You need to check this out and understand that these peoples votes count the same as yours.

http://www.howobamagotelected.com/

This is a real clear case of the major news media CBS/NBC/ABC/NPR/MPR not doing it's job, and uneducated voters.

Sometimes a vote in the uneducated hands is the same as a toddler with a loaded gun.  The outcome is never good.

True

I love how days after the media got Obama elected do they even talk about Bill Ayer's, and it is a "hey what can do you about it now" story

There has always been a liberal media bias, but the 2008 election was the worst.

I would like the dem. party to explain why they are
all turning into socialists. There already is a socialist party-go over there.
The rep. party is the only 1 that that sticks up for you given rights. They should
all stick to the constitution and cut the crap.
It is quite obvious where the media stands on this and  SNL too.
People need to realize you don't get the facts from TV.

The only wasted vote is that cast out of ignorance and/or fear.

He won because not everyone is as smart or educated or informed as people on this board.  I suggest that perhaps if the economy wasn't in the toilet and McCain picked a credible VP canidate we may have had a different outcome.

I think you have it backwards, if the GOP would have picked a better person to run other than McCain we would have had a different outcome.  I think McCain did a lot better than I expected, but while I did vote for him I did not have any strong desire to see him POTUS other than stopping Obama.

Tim Pawlenty would have done nothing for the ticket; we already had a "soft" republican on the ticket.

Tom Ridge would have added nothing

Joe Lieberman??  Please

Mitt Romney would have added something (I know about his issues, that we do not like, but he could be "taken to the woodshed"  I liked the way he ripped Al Gore, and Sen. McCaskill. The media was all ready to slice and dice Mitt again.

Fred Thompson - Should have had the same fire in the belly on the campaign trail has he did for the RNC convention.

Ron Paul  Don't go there.

I've campaigned in 57 states so far, we still have ONE more state to go, I still haven't been to Hawaii or Alaska yet, my staff wouldn't let me go there".

I might be off on one or two words from his quote. But it makes me wonder about a few things. If he's been to 57 states and only has one more to go to, but he mentioned Hawaii and Alaska after that. Does that mean Hawaii or Alaska isn't a state anymore? Or does that mean there actually 58 or 59 states in the union?

The media loves this guy now, but give it enough time. They will turn on him. When your at the top there is only one place to go...down.

PUKE...WTF is wrong with people?  I am embarrassed to be in the same generation as these morons.  I bet that at least one of the individuals on this has a college degree too.  I bet my tax dollars even subsidized their tuition.  $#@!~.

Until the Republicans start to act and talk conservatively, this is what we will get....the uninformed morons choosing our leaders.  YOU CAN'T BEAT THE LIBERALS BY BEING MORE LIBERAL...THEY WILL WIN EVERY TIME.  I'm sick of all the "reach across the aisle" to get things done crap.  I'm not helping any more Republicans get elected until they learn their lesson and stop getting along so well.  You think they would have learned this from listening to Ronald Reagan but I guess not.

How about standing up and articulating what real Conservatives stand for?  Step aside and remove the governmental barriers that are keeping this country from reaching its potential.  Lower taxes, cut spending, eliminate lifetime welfare payments.  Recognize your God-given rights and be proud of your county that was founded so you could exercise those rights free from persecution.  Remember and acknowledge that the 1st amendment cannot exist without the 2nd amendment.  Be proud of our country, not embarrassed.  Encourage productivity by letting the earners keep more of their money.

We are teaching our young people to have their damn hands out and government will re-distribute them a paycheck.  It's called enslavement and the poverty pimps should be ashamed of the carnage they’re leaving behind.

We're far from hitting bottom and things will get much worse.  The Obama team is already lowering everyone’s expectations but it probably won't matter anyway.  His supporters soon will go back to collecting their hand-outs, wishing that they could just have some more of the evil rich people's money to spend on their theatre and $4 coffee.  F in' hippie losers.

I really wish the Libertarians had a chance to win.  Bob Barr earned my vote but 2% just doesn't cut it.  We're in for a bumpy ride, especially if some Republicans "reach across the aisle" to get things done.  It's a long shot, but we could even see a push for constitutional amendments.  Imagine the things that lefties could think up.  Imagine a constitutional right to a “gun-free community".
