I was reading an article about how gun sales are booming now that Obama has been elected president, and I ran into this statement....

"With the glacial speed that we make progress on sensible gun laws, savvy gun consumers should know better than to think they have to rush out and buy guns," Hamm said. Similar surges accompanied the election of Bill Clinton, the last Democratic president, he added." Ok so to prove that rush to buy guns is "goofy" you compare the rush to buy guns now to a similar event with Clinton?? Did he never hear of who the Assault Weapons Ban came from?? Some people just amaze me at their stupidity. Sorry I just needed to rant a bit. My sister this weekend informed me that ALL people that shoot guns are racists and we are just paranoid that Nobama wants to take away our "piddley" guns. She also informed me that class warfare comes from capitalism and free markets.
Both my parents are dems and my sister is a liberal-socialist, I'm still trying to figure out how I turned out a conservative. Don |

Obama still has his stand on gun control up- It is here.... A bit tougher to find but still very clear on a permanent ban... Don Have you ever tried to reason or argue or reason with a liberal/socialist? I always knew she was a liberal but I didn't know she was a full-fledged socialist. She doesn't think the government is big enough or is funded enough, she is more worried about her "reporductive rights", it's something I must have missed in The Constitution. She also told me once she wished we lived in "more of a police state, well not really a police state, but something close"  .
I wish she had kids give a bb gun or airsoft to, but she's a Fema-nazi. I better get crackin' and knock up a lady so I have someone to leave my guns to when I'm six feet under. I have been saying this for a while and one of my buds thought I was maybe sailing with a bad compass. I believe this civilian security force, if it comes to fruition, should be staffed with non other than, drum roll, US!! Not THEM or THEY but WE instead. Call up the Messiah and tell him you have a bunch of guns and want to be in his CDF. See how long it takes for him to knock at your door. Guess what, they won't be there to take your job application.
