  believe it or not, ive had possum jerky. wasnt bad! that reminds me... i was cutting off a huge tree stump one time for a construction company that was building a house there. never paid much attention that there was a big hole in the top of this OLD stump. cut through it, and WTF ? theres blood and fur on the chain. first thought was "Squirrel" i pushed off the stump and there it was, an UGLY fucking possum. playing dead after i carved him up just slightly. well, i wasnt going to make a mess by grinding out the tree stump with him in it, so i shoveled him out with an ax. had my pistol in the truck but couldnt shoot him, i was in a residential area in South St Paul a couple whacks with the ax and pushed him off in the bushes. the contractor called and asked how the stump went, and i told him the above story. i guess i shouldnt have left the possum in the customers bushes at 90 degrees out   never got called by that construction company again. oh well. |
