There is a military surplus store just south of Maplewood Mall on Whitebear Ave on the South east corner of the cross road right before you get to Discount Tire. Great place with lots of stuff and good prices. It is north of HWY 36 by 1.5 to 2 miles.

+1

The 4th Street downtown one has REALLY gone down hill the past few years since it was owned by the big older guy.  I guess he died, and his wife took over the store, and it's now more cheap outlet clothes, very little military surplus like they USED TO have, and I don't much bother to go there anymore...

The GI Joe surplus store on Rockford Road / 42nd is a pretty nice one though!  I go in there once in a while looking for decent deals!

Haven't been to the Nicollete General J's in years, so I don't know about that one.  It was a decent one when I last went there ~6+ years ago though!  I even managed to snag a couple used USGI Adventureline 30rd mags there during the '94 AWB and they only wanted $20 for them...

Sportsman Guide out of South St Paul has some super deals at times. They have their internet sales or you can go to their showroom which is open to the public. I get all of my stuff there.

http://www.sportsmansguide.com    Look for their "military surplus" page.

They have lots of mickey mouse and bunny boots on sale. Brand new white bunny boots for about $45.00 right now.

Here's some of the stuff I've picked up in the last year.
