My friends Dad owns the own in Roberts WI. It is the old NIKE missle base built to protect the Twin Cities.

It's my dream home. The only thing I'd have to worry about is all out nuclear war, anything short of that and I'd say I'm pretty untouchable.

That I do not know. I have not been there in years.

I was there when the last owner owned it. He was goal was to turn it into a Cold War museum. He took us on a tour of the base and the silo sites.

He had a bunch of cool military trucks, tanks and half tracks at the base.

The guys dream never came to life because he was arrested for stealing trucks and tanks from the ARMY.

My friends Dad bought the base a few years ago, and now uses it for above and below ground storage.

Yeah, I remember the guy getting arrested. Rule #1, if you are going to steal from the army. Don't try to get rid of your extras in The Trading Times.
