Moving information On 12/3/06, at 7:00 am GS is moving from WoodHill Rd around the corner and down the block to; New GS Location; 14704 Excelsior Blvd Minnetonka, MN 55345 Help will not be turned away! |
|
The GS is The Gunstop in Minnetonka. There are two businesses 1 Gunstop Reloading owned by John Walton 2 Gunstop Enterprises owned by Howard Hall The exist under the same roof. John has forgot more about reloading then most people know. He is prince of man to deal with. A real resource. Howard has about the best prices in the metro. He trades and he has a pretty decent stock of guns including EBR's. Not so heavy with accessories mind you, but gun inventroy wise there are not many if any peers in the metro. They are currently located in a strip mall that is anchored by a grocery store. They are moving about 1 block west of the current location to more floor space. They will be next to a Dance Studio. |
Well some times a person has to go experience things for themselves! They are the best people to deal with. No morons that talk of carrying 500SW for concealed carry, no from people stumbling over each other to not wait on you, and great advice!

When I left on Sunday night, the shelves and racks were all up and the joint was opperational. John still had alot to be hung up on the pegboards, but it was functional. Thank you to all who were there to help. I think we got more done than Howie, John and Larry expected. And yes, the place is much bigger. Pretty nice set up. Sleepy717 |
| The place is huge and wide open!! In comparison to the Excelsior shop and the one they just moved from! John even has an office of sorts! I think that any this has to be the best for them and will help with sales for both John and Howard. There is more elbow room, and there is better lighting. |
Oh yeah! I bet that the frustration of the casual shopper will be a thing of the past. I used to hear people turned off by cramped quarters in the past, they will have no problems now. I applaud the move, even though it was forced upon them by construction plans.

There was no casual shopper in the past, if you browsed you were in the way.. |
I wonder if it was a joint venture between the GS and dance studio. Give the Husband/Father something to do while his Wife/Daughter is dancing. I have only brought my daughters to dance twice? in three years. If the GS was next to the dancin' spot I would be bringing them every other week. Fo shizzle. |
I have to admit I stopped by GS only once, durring the middle of the day on a weekday. There was a total of 3 customers there and I felt like I was in the way of every one of them and vice versa. I liked the shop, neat stuff, freindly staff, but I'm not a big fan of confined spaces so I never went back. Very much looking forward to seeing the new location though. |
