Save me a trip downtown... I moved to Minneapolis a while back and need to renew my permit to purchase a handgun. The 3rd precinct is real close, can I just stop in there for the paperwork or do I have to go to the main HQ in downtown? Thanks for your help! |

I can't speak specifically for Mpls and how they do things but you should be able to get the paperwork at any PD or SD. You just have to make sure you submit it to the PD or SD that oversees your area. If you're in the city then the PD if you live out in the county the SD. We occasionally have folks from the county ask for the paperwork and we give it to them but remind them to submit it to the sheriff's department. Good luck, Scott |

I'll maybe just stop by the 3rd precinct since it's so close to home and I'd rather not go into downtown unless I have to. 3rd precinct and home are off Lake and Minnehaha so yep, permit to carry is nexthingThanks again for your help! Jason |

the "loophole" is still there, IE: in America it is legal to buy and sell private property to another private citizen. But...buyer beware! |
And if you park in the Government Ramp it'll cost you $11 Minimum parking fee.
