O.K., here goes. DevilsAdvocate is going to be in town this weekend. He and I were thinking of having a gettogather/shoot; probably Sunday. I called the owner of the Princeton range and the range is pretty buisy. It is closed on Saturday due to a private long range shoo/event. On Sunday, They have trap leagues starting at noow, so the rifle range closes at noon. We could shoot from 8-12, but absolutely no rapid fire. The cost is $5.00 per gun. The only other places I know of are Waconia and Wealthwood. The problem with Waconia(other than the range Nazi's) is that I can only have two guests. I can check into what it would take to schedule an "event". But this too is a no rapid fire zone. Then there's Wealthwood. This range is all the way up by Garison, MN; not too convenient for most of us. Anyone interested in getting togather (what day) and anyone have any suggestions? I'll check into the range at Waconia and post tomorrow. Sleepy717 |

I'd love to go shooting this weekend!!! UPDATE: I will be picking up one tax return check tomorrow, and I will use the $$ to pay some bills, and still have some $$ left over to do something fun this weekend, maybe even enough for a new toy! We'll see how much $$ I get, and whether it'll be enough. But I'm game for anything, even if it's at Armored Fire. |

McNeilsen, shhoooot man, if you crank up ein kompressor, Garrison is WAY less than a hour!!! I mean its only 130 miles from Chaska, so what....105 for you and I figure you should make that in about 35 min with a few "cool down" miles! But hey, remember, once a wannabe, always... LOL Sleepy717 |

I agree, Garrison is WAY too far for me this saturday! So far I count a total of 7 people who want to go shooting: DevilsAdvocate Sleepy717 Jakezor iNuhBaD(Me) beerjager Lurch mcnielsen This is over the 6 guest limit (3 guests per member), and that's assuming that Jem can make it shooting that day. If need be, we could always just overload Armored Fire, but it sure would be fun to shoot our toys at longer distances than 50 yds. But also it'd be good to video-shoot at Armored fire too... Keep us updated... I hope things will work out for us this weekend! |

Hey Homies! SATURDAY would be a MUCH better day for me to go waste some ammo...LOL...one shot at a time =) Im at my dads tonight through Saturday night. I need to pick up my felines first thing Sunday morning and head West directly from there...so Sunday is out =( I wont be getting any email tonight because this computer is SSSLLLLLOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW. | fedgunner and Mc.....Saturday sounds good to me also.......my son is also a Oakdale member and he would probably go also.......so, talk it over and lets set a time for everyone to try to show up at the gate.....I don't live too far away so I could take the first bunch in at a given time..........we could also use cell phones for anyone getting there late so we could open the gate.......I don't think anything is planned at the gun club to close any portion of the range, will look when I go upstairs.......... |

So, Saturday, then? How about we meet at the gate of OGCat about 10-ish? Unless anyone else has another time in mind. We could also meet at the Galyan's parking lot near there in case anyone needs to pick up some ammo. IM me for my phone number, but I won't be picking up E-mails after 4:30 this afternoon, so let's try to decide soon. I'll be in the CPTLIST.

| Plenty of parking and no range fees because you will be the guests of Jack and I.....By the way, a better time is during the week if some of you guys want to go shooting after this weekend, because there are hardly any other people around.....maybe 3 or 4 people at the range during the week, the 100 and 200 yard ranges are wide open usually during the week... |

| guys, only 5 shooters from ar15 can come Sat.....2 members plus 3 people for each member......My son will be bringing his son so that leaves 5 other non-members to shoot..........I'm sure Jack wants to shoot sunday for the ones that can't make it sat, and I also probably will be available Sunday also.. |

WOO HOO!!! Today has GOT to be one of the GREATEST days of my life!!! First I'd like to thank you two Jem375, and MNBlaster for allowing us to accompany you two (or three counting Jay) to the OGC. It was a VERY NICE range, and I wish FedGunner & his wife could Join us as well... Perhaps next time. Today I: Went shooting, and had a PHENOMENAL time doing so. It was good to see you again Eric, and it was great to meet you & your family Jim. I would like to thank Mitch for his humorous squirrel escapades, mike, sleepy, and basically EVERYBODY for making today become the wonderful day that it is!!! I had a GREAT day, more so than you could concieve. Then when I got home, I checked my messages I got one from my old roommate telling me to go to my friend Eric's place, as he was throwing a party. Well, it was a party indeed!!! Mike, you should have followed me off on the HURON exit (BTW, you drive that car DAMN FAST!!! Was hard to catch you when U got caught in left-lane larry traffic) and joined me at this party. I was wearing a tie, and there were 75 girls, and about 20 guys there! YOu can imagine the girls flocked to the guy in the tie who appears to have money... Just think about how many of those 19 year old hotties would have flocked to the guy in the Mercedes Convertible that just pulled up!!! MAN, I hate to think of that!!! Well, I had two beers at the party, met countless girls, ate some BBQ food, got 3 phone numbers out of the womenz, and went home. Here I am, late as hell to pick up Alison, (so I called her, and she's kewl with that) and I smell like womenz' perfume (I got kissed a LOT), and now I'm quick showering before I head out to my date with Alison, and have to change into a new suit/tie because some chick spilled beer on my tie, and some other girl spilled tequila on my shirt!!! Thank the lord for shout stain remover... Now if only I had a GF that could wash my clothes for me. It was great seeing you guys there, great seeing you back in MN, Eric, and I hope we can all do this again sometime. I gotta run on my date now, I'll post pics sometime tomorrow (assuming I get a hosting account soon)... Two things, guys........ no more bump firing shoot at targets, no more rock shooting this is because if any other member is there like yesterday they do over react sometimes and I could get reprimanded or kicked out of the club.......and the neighbors might also complain about the auto firing......and the club memo does state that no shooting at cans,rocks, and etc is allowed......all in all, we had a good day, was glad to meet all of you, and Scott and Jay had a good time also.....we can get together again, anytime up to August when the general public deer rifle sight-ins start and then it will get crowded.....also general public shooting on weekends start in June, I believe......so, up to June, the range won't be too crowded if someone wants to go... |

Eric will be out of the office for awhile, so I'll answer. It's a Benelli M1. Yesssir, that is a fine one to shoot. Jem and MNB, I just want to say "thank you" again. Your range is one of the nicest ranges I have ever shot at. Thanks again, it is really appreciated. Thanks to everyone who showed up...it was a fine day on the range. Maybe we should look into the possibility of reserving the Princeton range for an afternoon. D/A, Beerjager and I took the soccermomassult vehicle and went to the Bloomington gun show and to Fuddruckers for some feed. uuuuuuuummmmm, Fuddruckers.......(guess you had to be there)..... | If anyone has any info on the Princeton shoot next month please post it, I'd like to check it out. I had a great time on sat, meet some good guys and got to shoot some top shelf firearms.......it's easy to put one through the same hole when there is 300 of them on the target |

It's probably a good thing I didn't go: 19 yr-old girls + mcnielsen = Klinton action! Keep studying and work like hell when you get out of college, and I'm sure you'll have any car you prefer!
